Emerging out of the late 60's counterculture, the First Edition was a rock and roll based band who bounced between country rock, pop and mild psychedelia, blurring the lines among the genres. Along with the likes of Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny Cash and Elvis Presley, their records in the late 1960s brought country music to the city and rock 'n' roll to the country. Previously unavailable for over three decades, Friday Music have remastered/reissued the band's first two albums on one CD!
