Mareridt (translation: Nightmare) is the highly anticipated sophomore full-length from renowned Danish composer and multi-instrumentalist MYRKUR. Recorded between Copenhagen and Seattle with producer Randall Dunn (Marissa Nadler, Earth, Sunn O))), Boris, Wolves In The Throne Room), Mareridt is a rich juxtaposition of the dark and the light; the moon and the mother earth; the witch and the saint. MYRKUR explores deeper into the mysterious and the feminine with 11 tracks that further progress her visionary blend of metal with gorgeous, stirring melodies, dark folk passages, choral arrangements and superb, horrific beauty. Further taking MYRKUR to new artistic heights are lyrics in multiple languages, an unforgettable collaboration with Chelsea Wolfe and an array of special instrumentation including violin, mandola, folk drums, nyckelharpa (an ancient Swedish key harp), and Kulning (an ancient Scandinavian herding call). Mareridt is a profound manifestation of nightmares that demonstrates MYRKUR as one of the truly exceptional artists of our time.
The Chemical Brothers share a re-issue of breakthrough second album 'Dig Your Own Hole'. Originally released in 1997, the record blended house and techno with aspects of hip-hop production, psychedelia, and more, a visionary sonic brew that still resonates today.
AMERICAN DREAM is the long awaited fourth album from LCD Soundsystem. The album is available digitally, and on CD and LP.
The first two singles released from the album are "call the police" and "american dream," that moved Pitchfork to rave the songs "couldn't sound timelier" and that "Murphy and company have never sounded so invigorated." The New York Times hailed "call the police" as "a quietly ambitious protest song… except that instead of searing, it motors," and Noisey embraced "american dream" like "a warm blanket." The band debuted both of these tracks on a May, 2017 appearance on Saturday Night Live. The next track and video that followed is "tonite."

It's a record that shows the legendary British producer confront his legacy, history, family & even death itself. And in all of this, he finds the strangest, least familiar thing & peace.

Pioneers, philosophers, trailblazers, in short: prophets always have to assemble their flocks abroad before they find due recognition in their homelands. This also applies to the German art form KMFDM. Whether in the US, Japan, Australia or elsewhere - for over a quarter of a century they are the epitome and synonym for a musical style of the harder variety: Industrial Rock.
Now KMFDM are preparing to release their first new studio album in over 3 years entitled "HELL YEAH" on August 18th via earMUSIC. An EP, "YEAH!" was released earlier to whet fans appetite and features some great remixes. Lead single HELL YEAH is an instant KMFDM classic with its ultra-heavy beat and Sascha Konietzko s trademark cynical lyrics. The album ranges from songs that are sometimes political "FAKE NEWS", "TOTAL STATE MACHINE" to more techno/dance tracks "MURDER MY HEART" and "Rx 4 THE DAMNED" diverse like the band itself, the songs are sometimes political, sometimes with ironic lyrics and an underlying humorous edge but 100% KMFDM.
With its cover artwork having been created by Aidan Hughes aka BRUTE!, HELL YEAH will be available on 1CD Digipak, 2LP Gatefold (180 Gram/45 RPM) and Digital.

Synth-pop pioneers OMD return with their dazzling 13th studio album, ''The Punishment of Luxury,'' which sees them combine the wistful nostalgia and idealised romance of their previous work while stepping out of their comfort zone. The LP is out September 1st on White Noise. This is the follow up to the critically acclaimed ''English Electric'' (released in 2013). ''The Punishment Of Luxury'' is a daring collection of stylish synth pop and masterful songwriting, which will certainly rank alongside their very best. Written, recorded, produced and mixed by OMD--Andy McCluskey and Paul Humphreys--the album is the sound of a band in their prime. ''On this album we have managed to make beautiful things out of noises and repetitive patterns,'' explains Andy. ''The trouble is, we just can't help but write a catchy melody!'' Described by The Quietus as ''not just one of the best synth bands ever, they are one of the best bands ever,'' OMD's influence has become ubiquitous. The XX, the Killers and LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy have cited Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark as an inspiration, and the likes of Future Islands and Chvrches show traces of OMD's DNA.
Grammy Award-winning duo Bob Moses release their highly anticipated third album, The Silence in Between. The Silence in Between marks the Los Angeles-based band’s first release since signing to Astralwerks in a unique global partnership with Domino Recording Co. Love Brand New is one of the most anthemic moments on The Silence in Between, “Love Brand New” finds Vancouver-bred musicians / producers Tom Howie and Jimmy Vallance tapping into their deep-rooted love for ’90s alt-rock and left-of-center dance music. Written with Michel Zitron and John Martin (a Swedish production duo known for their work with the likes of Avicii and Swedish House Mafia), the track encompasses a glorious collision of moody guitar tones, mercurial textures, and wildly propulsive beats as Bob Moses channel the dizzying euphoria of new romance.
As their boldest and most viscerally charged output to date, The Silence in Between amplifies the unbridled energy that’s made Bob Moses a repeat winner of Resident Advisor’s Best Live Act prize.
Vinyl LP pressing. Includes digital download.
For a duo whose youthful energy rejuvenated the world of house music at the start of the 2010s, it seems incredible that Disclosure are now into their second decade of musical life. The incredible vigour of those early records, the spark of invention and ever-onward musical thrust, remains with the Disclosure brothers, Howard and Guy Lawrence, to this day.
The emphasis throughout DJ-Kicks is on motion. After a brief ambient introduction from Pépe's Life Signs, Disclosure keep the energy high, in a mix that showcases the wonderful malleability of a house beat in the right hands. From sub bass to disco samples, African funk to 303 tweak, all is welcome in Disclosure's house, with the mix allowing individual songs space to breath even as the pace remains harefooted.
Jungle’s new album ‘Loving In Stereo’ is the soundtrack for a summer quite unlike any other. The British producer duo have created a huge disco record for the post-social distancing age, with a life-affirming, dancefloor-igniting, sun-kissed celebration of all the things that make music irresistibly joyful.

Those two records have since accumulated 750,000 equivalent album sales and close to a billion streams worldwide. Atop that, Jungle have embarked on global sell out tours - notably in the UK, London’s 10k capacity Alexandra Palace & filling the Hollywood Palladium - two coveted Glastonbury performances, slots at numerous International festivals including Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, Roskilde, Primavera & enjoyed shows across five continents.

BRONSON, the brand new group by ODESZA and Golden Features, unveils their debut self-titled album on Foreign Family Collective / Ninja Tune. BRONSON is available on clear LP, limited edition black and yellow LP, and CD. GRAMMY-nominated duo ODESZA and acclaimed Australian producer Golden Features have come together to form the powerhouse group BRONSON. The self-titled album BRONSON pushes the soundscapes of their previous projects to explore the darker edges of dance music. The LP features heavyweight collaborations from lau.ra of Ultraista, Gallant, and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs. The BRONSON album reflects on their respective needs to challenge personal struggles, both internal and external. Moreover, the trio recognized that their own battles were merely microcosms of the surrounding world. The hope was to craft a body of work that was reflective of that duality of lightness and darkness inherent to the human condition.
"W" was formed out of the need to give more space and a bigger voice to the women who have inspired Populous over the past few years, the women who continue to be part of his artistic and personal life. A tribute to the feminine and its countless facets, an album of sensual, dreamy, and uninhibited electronica. A calm counter to overtly masculine musical environments and an invitation to an ever-inclusive system.
