More Info:
Remastered 12 song UK version of their 1967 album partially recorded with Dave Hassinger in Hollywood & at the newly opened Olympic Studios in England with Glyn Johns. Recording technology was by now allowing for greater experimentation and although every track is credited to Jagger/Richards, there are certainly very different styles of music and song writing to be heard on this album - "Yesterday's Papers" has the distinction of being the first song to be written solely by Mick Jagger. Ironically there were no hit singles on the album. The iconic cover photo was shot by acclaimed rock photographer Gered Mankowitz with the back cover cartoons & drawings done by drummer Charlie Watts.Reviews:
