Primarily known as the one-off soul group that released one single in 1966 that has been described with such accolades as "the ultimate sound of northern soul," or "the finest soul record to ever come out of New Jersey," The Superlatives were comprised of the talented vocalists St. Julian "Pee Wee" Bonaparte (lead vocals), David Jones (first tenor), Leon Stuckey (second tenor), Marvin "Mousey" Williams (bass) and Gerald Applewhite (baritone). Their lone single, "I Still Love You" b/w "We're So Lonely" has been regarded as one of finest examples of northern soul ever to be waxed. This iconic single, originally released on the short-lived, Jersey City based Uptite label, has been newly remastered.
